First "Official" Entry: Last few weeks in Bloomington

I've spent the last few weeks before my trip completing unfinished projects and making headway on new ones. It's mildly unsettling to think that I won't be able to work on anything (besides through e-mail) for three months. I think it will be refreshing when I finally leave and will be able to enjoy my experiences without home-town attachments.

Here, I'm working on a last minute fundraiser. I baked and sold about 600 ginger-snap cookies in boxes (with my mom's help of course). It was successful making about $240 profit for our school greenhouse and garden fund. Click the picture to get the recipe.

Where the heck is Nimbin?

Nimbin is a small suburb of Lismore, New South Wales. I marked it with that little red-yellow dot on the bottom right. Click on the map for more info on Nimbin. Posted by Picasa
